I am really impressed by this product. It’s very light and doesn’t move around on my head AT ALL! Also, the lights are nice and bright and I love that it’s rechargeable! I would recommend this to ANYONE who runs in the early morning hours or after dusk.

I found this headlamp to be in the sweet-spot between size and output. Some highlights below:
– It’s really comfortable
o The fleece liner is excellent
o The elastic allows it to fit securely without being too tight, even over a winter hat
o Super light
– It generates enough light
o I’ve used this to run on trails, a track, a turf field and grass soccer fields in complete darkness
o I see enough of potential obstacles, hills, ruts and such to avoid them
– I’m visible to others
Surprising uses:
– Grilling
o Great way to keep grilling year round- hands free!
– Christmas carols
o It was great for me to see the songbook but also be seen by cars as we moved between houses
Opportunities for improvement:
– Slight downward angle of the lead light (I tilt my head down a bit for better light in technically difficult spots)
– Easier connection to charging cable (it’s not that difficult, but perhaps a couple stitches could keep the receiving end of the plug a little more stationary)
Finally, there is a tradeoff with a brighter light. There are times in which I’d like more, but getting more light often means a heavier headlamp and/or shorter battery life. For the bulk of my needs, this light covers it. When more light is needed (higher speed mountain biking in low light), choosing a handlebar mounted, heavier weight option is preferred.
